About me

Harsevak was conceptualized in the great Covid pandemic over a dinner table conversation with my family, which is usually the most passionate discussion of the day. Usually it involves my parents attempts to draw out what happened in school and other activities that I am involved in, however one of the early days of lockdown in 2020, the conversation took a turn to how my mother (who is a doctor and was working in the lockdown at the community public hospital) was so pained by the state of affairs.

She described the suffering of all those who were not being able to reach hospitals, who had other issues such as loss of employment, hunger and loneliness which made it difficult for them to get medical help during that time.

I woke up from the boredom that had started setting in during these lockdown days and decided I had to do something, anything … and thus was born Harsevak….

Before, after and during the pandemic I have been a Golf enthusiast, a secret writer (a poet and essay/ diary kind of author) and a very passionate dancer. My first girl love was, is and always going to be is Taylor swift and her music. Arianna Grande, , probably will be always second to Taylor. Taylor inspires me, heals me and drives me to be better as a human being and gives me the gumption to be that girl who will someday take on this world!!

I love the classical dance form ‘Kathak’ and feel that it gives me amazing grace and style. I love being trained by my ‘Guru –Richa Jain’ who is the ultimate goddess of Kathak!  she has helped me perform at various stage events, helped me acquire the confidence to choreograph and perform Kathak (which I fuse with contemporary dance, to make it more teenage friendly) at my school shows, assemblies and club events. It feels great when other clubs and classes also seek me out to help putting dance presentations together and I always thank heaven and her for being in my life and enriching it so much!

I am an avid Golfer, swimmer and fitness enthusiast and can proudly give credit to my awesome coaches –Gaurav Ghei, Jasjeet Singh for being a hopefully good golfer (always trying to be better than my last handicap of 10), Neha Maam for teaching and pushing me to become a good enough swimmer to not drown in water and Manisha who is my fitness guru and friend at the same time, someone who gives me strength and stamina goals.
